It's hard work to make it work, unless you get very lucky, or you are well known offline.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It won't necessarily make you rich overnight either, but it could make you wealthier in the long term - if you apply what you have learnt effectively.  Blogging can showcase your skills and lead to interesting opportunities, which is something I know about.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Keep plugging away, and stick Adsense on this site - it should end up covering hosting costs over time.&lt;/p&gt;
